The CPU is the brains of your computer. For general home use such as browsing the web, creating documents and emailing an i3 is sufficient, for heavier multitasking, an i5 is recommended, and for heavier workloads such as using Photoshop, an i7 is recommended.

RAM is the temporary working memory of your computer. 8GB is sufficient for most use cases, but with lots of multitasking or heavier workloads more is recommended.

You can add a Hard Disk Drive for additional storage space for your data to your computer.

This super fast Solid State Drive is the primary drive for your computer where Windows and programs are installed to, and unless you have a secondary drive it's also where your data will be stored.
